The Basics of CBD

According to Massi et al. (2006) and Bauer et al. (2020), CBD is a non-psychoactive chemical in cannabis plants like hemp and marijuana. There are many species of cannabis plants with different chemical compounds called cannabinoids. CBD is one of the cannabinoids, and there are about 140 others.

Why Add CBD to Your Mince Pie Recipe?

According to Watt & Karl (2017), CBD is therapeutic. While these claims point out the potential of CBD, more research is needed to prove them true. Adding CBD to mince pie is ideal to benefit from CBD without feeling bitterness and earthiness. CBD oils and tinctures are the primary way to deliver the cannabinoid to the body, but not all users can put up with their bitter taste. Mince pies mask the taste, letting consumers enjoy the dessert while taking advantage of CBD.
