Rose Hip Seed (Rosa Canina)
Its botanical name is Rosa Canina. Rose Hip is a variable scrambling rose species native to Europe, northwest Africa and western Asia. The plant is high in certain antioxidants. The fruit is noted for its high vitamin C level. It is high in GLA, (gamma-linolenic acid is an omega-6 essential fatty acid), and helps reduce the signs of ageing, especially the fine lines around the eyes (crows feet) and lines around the mouth, and the drying effects of the sun and climate.
