Harper's Bazaar Australia Style Feature

Linda Rodin arrives for our shoot a full 15 minutes early, and by the time she was scheduled to arrive has edited a rack of clothes to wear an made her way over to hair and makeup. To say this level of efficiency is a rarity in the fashion industry would be an understatement, but then the talent today is more qualified than most. The lifelong New Yorker was a model in the '60s (well, she tabled for a few years while studying in Italy), a boutique owner in the '70s, a stylist in the '80s, '90s and noughties, and is now a later-in-life beauty mogul, having created cosmetics brand Rodin from her bathroom in 2007, before selling the company to Estée Lauder in 2014. So in theory, the 68-year-old could do everything herself on this shoot, except maybe the photography.
